2016 TEAM IMF AMBASSADOR APPLICATION NOW OPEN!

The IRONMAN Foundation has formed an exclusive TEAM IMF Ambassador Team to encourage your continued involvement with a minimized fundraising commitment and a maximized service focus. The mission of our TEAM IMF Ambassador Team is to continue spreading the mission of The IRONMAN Foundation through service and fundraising within our IRONMAN race communities. As a TEAM IMF alumni, you have the unique opportunity to join this elite group for specific service initiatives at select focus races for the 2016 triathlon season.

2016 TEAM IMF AMBASSADOR’S PLEDGE TO:

    • Raise $1,000.00 in support of TEAM IMF Ambassador service initiatives for 2016.
    • Participate in one service project at a team designated IRONMAN event.
    • Race in one of our TEAM IMF Ambassador focus IRONMAN events.

*Service project & focus race participation are encouraged for each Ambassador Athlete, but are not required for admittance onto the team.

  • IRONMAN Texas
  • IRONMAN 70.3 Vineman
  • IRONMAN Wisconsin
  • IRONMAN Maryland
  • IRONMAN Arizona

THE FINE PRINT

  • To be considered, you must be a TEAM IMF Alumnus.
  • TEAM IMF Ambassadors must acquire their own race entry as this will not be provided by The IRONMAN Foundation through your fundraising.
  • The $1,000.00 fundraising goal for each ambassador is not mandated nor will your credit card be charged if you do not reach this benchmark. This fundraising commitment is a way to enhance your giveback in the form of a surprise grant check at the conclusion of each of our 2016 service projects.
  • You will be eligible to receive custom TEAM IMF Ambassador gear once you raise $500.00.
  • As a TEAM IMF Ambassador, you will look stylish on course in custom race kits designed specifically for our TEAM IMF Ambassador team. The iconic TEAM IMF Blue will still link you to your fellow TEAM IMF teammates but the Ambassador team will have unique elements to set you apart.
  • You will also have the opportunity to receive free race gear and pro-level discounts from our IRONMAN Foundation partners.
  • All TEAM IMF Ambassadors will boast lower bib numbers at our target races and have a bike rack up at the front.
  • We may have to cap our Ambassador Team roster and admittance will be based on a first come, first serve basis.

Deadline to submit your applications is Monday, February 22nd, 2016

  2. After the deadline has passed, we will contact you with the list of athletes who have made the TEAM IMF Ambassador team.
  3. Once we officially announce the TEAM IMF Ambassadors, we will then begin assisting you in setting up your fundraising pages, so that you can start making an impact through your IRONMAN Journey once again!
