Revisiting Coeur D’Alene: 2012 Featured Athlete Jen Cowper Listen to one of last year’s IRONMAN Foundation Coeur d’Alene athletes talk about racing for her mother, who was diagnosed with ALS disease in 2011. Cowper, a Coeur d’Alene resident, finished last year’s race in 12 hours, 51 minutes, wearing IRONMAN’s first ALS finisher Jon Blais’ bib number, 179. Idaho’s long-time IRONMAN host town is getting readying for the 2013 edition of the event set for Sunday.
